The import volume of liquefied gas at Hunchun Customs doubled in the first quarter, and the vitality of cross-border clean energy trade surged

In the first quarter of this year, Hunchun Customs supervised the import of 105000 tons of liquefied gas, a significant increase of 128.3% year-on-year, and the import volume doubled. The cross-border clean energy trade in Northeast China showed a strong and explosive trend.
At the cargo yard of Jilin Hongxing Energy Co., Ltd., there are 20 imported liquefied gas transport vehicles shuttling back and forth every day, and the site is efficient and orderly. Hunchun Customs officers stick to the front line of the port, regardless of holidays or severe weather, and carry out on-site inspections and supervision on a regular basis, fully ensuring the safe and smooth clearance of cross-border clean energy. In recent years, Jilin Province has vigorously promoted the green transformation of energy structure, and the implementation of clean energy substitution projects such as "coal to gas" has been deepened, resulting in a continuous increase in market demand. Hunchun, with its unique border location advantage, has become an important channel for the transportation of liquefied gas from Russia to China, providing solid port support for regional energy supply.
Ren Yufang, General Manager of Jilin Hongxing Energy Co., Ltd., said, "Our import volume increased by 30% in the first quarter of this year and is expected to exceed 100000 tons by the end of the year. Our import scale continues to expand, but the efficiency of vehicle turnover continues to improve. This is thanks to customs officers staying on site and conducting timely inspections, and even with a large volume of traffic, there has been no congestion
Faced with the continuously growing import demand, Hunchun Customs adheres to the principle of "more effective supervision and more convenient customs clearance", and coordinates the efforts of supervision and service in both directions. On the one hand, tracking the dynamics of the clean energy market, conducting policy lectures and risk assessments, promoting the reform of inspection modes, releasing reform dividends, and achieving "zero detention" at ports; On the other hand, we will build a "dual channel" transportation model for land and rail, optimize the "early declaration, timely supervision, and delayed service" model, compress the overall customs clearance time to less than 30 minutes, and significantly improve customs clearance efficiency.
In the next step, Hunchun Customs will combine the establishment and practice of a correct view of political achievements with learning and education. Through on-site visits, discussions with customs enterprises, and other forms of open door advice and precise services, we will continue to improve regulatory efficiency and service quality, promote the deep integration of precise supervision, safety production, and convenient customs clearance, continuously optimize the port business environment, ensure the stable import of clean energy in Jilin Province, and contribute customs strength to the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China in the new era.
