On April 3rd, at dawn, the "Green Channel for Fresh Products" on the east side of Gongbei Port was already a busy scene. Trucks orderly entered the inspection area and lined up one by one. Inside the carriage, white chrysanthemums are elegant, yellow chrysanthemums are dignified, and purple chrysanthemums are serene. On the inspection table, customs officers hold inspection equipment and carefully verify the category, specifications, quantity, and other information of this batch of flowers.
The order volume has clearly increased in recent days, and as usual, the week before Qingming Festival is the peak period for fresh flower shipments! In order to effectively ensure efficient customs clearance of fresh flowers supplied to Macau during the Qingming Festival, the Gongbei Customs has deployed in advance and actively coordinated with the export plans of enterprises, providing "one-on-one" customs clearance guidance, achieving "inspection upon arrival and release upon completion", maximizing the compression of customs clearance time on the basis of ensuring the quality and safety of flowers, and ensuring that flowers are supplied to the Macau market in their freshest state.
According to statistics, from March 30th to April 4th this year, Gongbei Customs supervised a total of 12 trucks and 118170 fresh cut flowers exported to Macau.
