This batch of "Big Mac" independently developed by local enterprises in Xiangshan County, Ningbo will be directly loaded onto ships from a dock 400 meters away from the factory and shipped to Indonesian ports, achieving a leap from the "factory gate" to the "national gate".
The 4040 gantry crane exported this time is manufactured by Ningbo Lihua Port Machinery Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. and will be used for container and heavy material loading and unloading in Indonesian ports. The Vice President of Production of the company, He Mingji, introduced that this model is an ultra high eccentricity intelligent model, which has undergone multiple innovations on the basis of traditional cranes. "The column system has been changed from the center to an eccentric design, which ensures stability while extending the boom to a farther distance; the key rotating parts are processed using overall three-dimensional processing technology, so that the accuracy is controlled within 3 millimeters." With this "millimeter level" technology, the company's subsequent orders have been increased from one to two, and the manufacturing cycle of the second machine has been compressed from 7 months to 4 months.
It is not an easy task to ensure the safety of the inseparable "giant" that is about tens of meters high when it goes out to sea. To avoid the high cost and risk of overseas assembly, the company has decided to ship the entire machine. Ye Feng, Chairman of Xiangshan Port Development Co., Ltd., stated that the team has developed a special support plan one month in advance. Through multiple calculations and simulations, the team has accurately controlled the entire process of ship berthing, axis vehicle connection, roll on/roll off loading, and ensured the safe departure of escort equipment throughout the entire process.
The efficiency of port clearance is another major test. Xue Xinchun, Deputy Director of Xiangshan Customs, introduced that the customs has established a "one enterprise, one policy" assistance mechanism for the first export of large cargo from the port, embedding supervision into the port operation process, achieving "immediate use upon completion and instant release from customs", saving more than 500000 yuan in logistics costs for enterprises. In the past, it was necessary to transport and change ships inland, which had long cycles and high costs. Nowadays, direct export shipping can save more than one million yuan in freight costs per voyage, and the long-term benefits are even more considerable
It is reported that Ningbo Lihua Port Machinery Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was established in September 2021.
