In the first quarter, the number of inbound and outbound passengers at Qingdao Airport increased by 24%

In the first quarter of this year, Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport had a total of nearly 7000 inbound and outbound flights, with over 930000 passengers, an increase of 13% and 24% year-on-year, respectively. Among them, there were nearly 170000 foreign inbound tourists, a year-on-year increase of 51%. With the deepening implementation of visa free policies, the continuous extension of international routes, and the continuous expansion of international transfers, the number of inbound and outbound passengers at Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport continues to rise.

To support the development of international transit business, Qingdao Jiaodong Airport Customs continues to optimize the process of transit supervision and connection, promoting the formation of a multi-mode transit network of "international international" and "international domestic". The route network has basically covered major international passenger transport destinations in East Asia, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Europe, and comprehensively connected the round-trip flight guarantee chain from 38 major cities in China via Qingdao to the international market.
