The number of overseas buyers attending the first phase of the 139th Canton Fair has reached a new high in history

Beijing, April 20, CCTV News (reporter Huang Dongxu, Han Yuhao, Chen Huiting) According to News and Newspaper Abstracts of Voice of China, China National Radio and Television Corporation, the first offline exhibition of the 139th Canton Fair ended on April 19, and 324 new product launches were held. As of 17:00 on the 19th, a total of 167000 overseas buyers from 216 countries and regions attended the meeting, an increase of 5.9% compared to the same period last year, fully demonstrating the resilience and vitality of China's foreign trade.

This year's Canton Fair has added 9 popular zones for the first time, covering emerging themes such as drones, smart wearables, technology fabrics, and integrated houses.

Nearly 20% of the participating companies in this year's Canton Fair have engaged in outward investment, contributing over 200000 local job opportunities. Trade investment integration has become the development direction of many foreign trade enterprises. More and more companies are no longer just selling products, but launching comprehensive solutions that combine hardware, software, and system services. Exhibitor Jiang Zhijia stated that the deep integration of industry and trade, as well as service trade, has made their cooperation with customers even closer.

The second offline exhibition of this year's Canton Fair, themed "Quality Home Furnishings", will be held from April 23rd to 27th, with an exhibition area of 515000 square meters and 25000 booths. It will focus on three major themes: building materials and furniture, household goods, gifts and decorations.
