The "Hefei Dubai" international freight route has officially made its maiden voyage

Recently, a fully loaded 52.5-ton cross-border e-commerce cargo plane took off smoothly from Hefei Xinqiao International Airport and flew directly to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, marking the official maiden flight of the "Hefei Dubai" international cargo route.

As an important trade, finance and aviation hub in the Middle East, Dubai has an annual cargo throughput of more than 2 million tons. Its cargo network has spread to dozens of countries and regions in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia, etc. It is a core portal for global cross-border e-commerce and high value-added cargo transit, and an important fulcrum for the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road". The opening of this direct flight route has built a convenient and efficient air corridor for Anhui cargo shipping, which is a key step for Hefei to deeply integrate into the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" and improve the energy level of the international air cargo distribution center. At present, Hefei Xinqiao International Airport has normalized its operations to international all cargo routes such as New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, and the international air cargo network continues to be closely woven and improved.

To ensure the efficient and smooth operation of the first flight, the customs of Hefei Xinqiao Airport proactively planned ahead and accurately coordinated and implemented policies. In response to the characteristics of multiple batches, tight delivery time, and diverse categories of cross-border e-commerce goods, we will strengthen pre risk assessment, use intelligent non-invasive inspection methods, and strictly adhere to the national security bottom line. At the same time, we will simultaneously open a "green channel" for customs clearance, fully implement advance declaration, appointment clearance, and "7 × 24 hours" round the clock clearance guarantee, break through the bottlenecks in the entire clearance process, and effectively use efficient supervision to help flights depart on time.
