Xiong'an International Airport officially opened

On March 22nd, Capital Airlines JD488, a subsidiary of New Hainan Airlines, flew from Colombo, Sri Lanka to Beijing Daxing International Airport aboard an Airbus A330 wide body aircraft. The ceramic decorations on board were unloaded and transported to Xiong'an for customs inspection. This marks the official launch of Xiong'an International Airport, the first non air port in China that relies on a comprehensive bonded zone and an aviation three character code. This air cargo shipment uses the three character code "NXA" of Xiong'an Airlines, with an exclusive code as the "identity certificate". International goods can be directly linked to the world, and Xiong'an International Airport officially has the functions of international air freight origin and destination ports.

As the carrier of this cargo, we have personally experienced the efficient coordination, convenient customs clearance process, and strong service guarantee between the ports of Beijing and Xiong'an, greatly improving the overall operational efficiency of air cargo. To ensure the smooth implementation of the first order business, the Xiong'an Pilot Free Trade Zone Management Committee has deepened cooperation with Beijing Shouxin Aviation Ground Service Co., Ltd., relying on the customs supervision of the port code and the "NXA" three character code, to build the Xiong'an International Air Cargo Terminal to high standards. Xiong'an Customs and Beijing Daxing International Airport Customs have strengthened cross regional coordination and built a convenient and efficient "big customs clearance" system between Beijing and Xiong'an. Li Yufeng, Deputy Director of Xiong'an Customs, introduced: "The construction of a convenient customs clearance system in Beijing and Xiong'an allows Xiong'an enterprises to enjoy the convenience of an international aviation hub at their doorstep. We will continue to deepen cooperation with various ports in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, effectively reduce logistics costs for enterprises, and transform the benefits of opening up into development momentum faster and better." Li Yaopu, Deputy Director of Customs at Beijing Daxing International Airport, said that we fully support the construction of the aviation pre cargo terminal in Xiong'an Comprehensive Bonded Zone, consolidate cross-border logistics channels, actively play the port function of Beijing Daxing International Airport, and make the flow of goods from Beijing Daxing International Airport to Xiong'an International Cargo Terminal as if they were in the same regulatory area.

Xiong'an New Area is exploring a new path for high-level opening-up and development in inland areas. The commissioning of Xiong'an International Airport and the implementation of the "NXA" code are key breakthroughs in improving the open economic infrastructure of the new area, which will promote Xiong'an's comprehensive integration into the global air cargo network and lay a solid foundation for the high-quality development of the outward oriented economy.
