Recently, Huangdao Customs under Qingdao Customs seized a batch of prohibited imported foreign garbage in the freight channel, totaling 51.8 tons.

During the inspection of imported goods with the declared product name "Ethylene Polymer Recycled Particles", customs officers found that the particles had different sizes and shapes. After sampling and identification, the above-mentioned particles are a mixture of defective products, scraps, or scraps generated during the plastic reprocessing process, and belong to foreign garbage prohibited by the country from being imported.

China prohibits the import of foreign garbage in any form, and prohibits the dumping, stacking, and disposal of foreign garbage in China. Import enterprises should strictly comply with the Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control Law of the People's Republic of China and relevant laws and regulations. For those who illegally import foreign garbage into China, the customs shall order them to return and impose fines in accordance with the law. Those who commit crimes will be held criminally responsible in accordance with the law. (Liu Xu/Text)
