Customs at Qingdao Jiaodong Airport seized illegal entry of electronic cigarettes and cigarette bombs

Recently, the customs at Qingdao Jiaodong Airport seized incoming passengers carrying electronic cigarettes and cartridges in violation of regulations at the travel inspection site.

During the supervision of inbound flights, customs officers discovered that the checked baggage inspection image of a passenger entering through an "undeclared channel" was abnormal. After unpacking and inspection, 42 disposable electronic cigarettes and 60 electronic cigarette cartridges were found in their luggage.

According to relevant regulations, inbound passengers are allowed to carry 2 electronic cigarette sets and 6 electronic cigarette cartridges (liquid aerosols) or products sold in combination with cartridges and sets (including disposable electronic cigarettes, etc.) within their tax-free limit, with a total liquid capacity of no more than 12 milliliters. Among them, passengers entering from Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions are allowed to carry one electronic cigarette device, three electronic cigarette cartridges (liquid aerosols) or products sold in combination with cartridges and devices (including disposable electronic cigarettes, etc.), with a total liquid capacity of no more than 6 milliliters.
