Shougang Jingtang overcomes the production technology of high-quality steel with low carbon emissions and high scrap steel ratio in converter
Recently, Shougang Jingtang United Co., Ltd. and Shougang Group Technology Research Institute have completed the production of low-carbon emission high-quality steel technology using the converter large scrap ratio process, which has been recognized as the world's first process by the Shougang Group's first process review meeting.
This technology has achieved three core innovations: firstly, it has pioneered the development of a single process ultra-high scrap ratio smelting process for converters without the need for additional equipment such as preheating of scrap steel; Secondly, it pioneered the continuous production technology of high-quality and low-carbon steel discharge in the long process of blast furnace converter, achieving stable production of ultra-high scrap steel ratio through multi furnace continuous pouring; Thirdly, we have pioneered stable control technology for steel cleanliness under ultra-high scrap steel ratio conditions, achieving full coverage production of high-end varieties such as automotive exterior panels.
