Recently, Huangdao Customs has seized two batches of unqualified exported dangerous goods, totaling 22.1 tons.
During the on-site inspection of two batches of export goods declared as "Baicao Suishui Agent", customs officers found that the goods were packaged in cardboard boxes, and the UN mark (United Nations dangerous goods packaging certification mark) information on the packaging did not match the attached identification result sheet for the transportation of dangerous goods for export, indicating that the dangerous goods packaging had not been used for identification. The goods consist of 918 boxes and weigh 22.1 tons.
Baicao withered water agent belongs to Class 6.1 dangerous goods, with high toxicity. Using packaging that has not been used for identification poses significant safety hazards during transportation and storage.
At present, the customs have decided not to export the above-mentioned goods. (Liang Jialin/Wen)
