Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Customs seized 19 kilograms of K powder

Recently, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Customs under Guangzhou Customs seized a batch of ketamine, which has now been handed over to the anti smuggling department for processing.

Customs officers discovered abnormal machine inspection images while supervising a shipment of goods named "Suspension Control Arm". They immediately intercepted and seized 10 packages of white block crystals packaged in transparent plastic bags, suspected to contain ketamine. After testing by a professional organization, it was determined that the white block shaped crystals mentioned above are the drug ketamine, with a net weight of 19903.82 grams. Ketamine, commonly known as "K-powder", is addictive and can cause brain damage, urinary tract disorders, and respiratory depression when abused.

According to laws and regulations such as the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China and the Drug Control Law of the People's Republic of China, drugs refer to opium, heroin, methamphetamine (ice), morphine, marijuana, cocaine, and other narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances controlled by the state that can cause addiction. Smuggling, trafficking, transporting, and manufacturing drugs, regardless of the quantity, should be held criminally responsible and punished.
