Recently, the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge Customs under the jurisdiction of Gongbei Customs intercepted 75 endangered animal species, the Ere pulled chest turtle, in the inbound bus passage of the port.
At around 1am on the same day, customs officers were conducting supervision at the Zhuhai Highway Port of the Hong Kong Zhuhai Macao Bridge when they discovered an abnormal machine inspection image on a Hong Kong single license plate vehicle, and subsequently intercepted it for inspection. After further inspection, 75 live turtles with a total weight of 21 kilograms were found wrapped in socks under the driver's and passenger's seats. The driver is unable to provide legal proof documents and admits to charging labor fees.
