On March 17th, a batch of fresh tamarind (sour horn) from Thailand passed through the Yangpu Port under the jurisdiction of Haikou Customs. This is the first time that Hainan has imported fresh fruits of this category, and Hainan Free Trade Port has added a new member to the fresh import category. This import not only enriches the supply of tropical fruits in the domestic market, meets the demand for consumer upgrading, but also further opens up the trade channel for agricultural products between Hainan and Southeast Asian countries.
