On the morning of March 19th, at Doumen Port in Zhuhai, a "big guy" with a length of over 20 meters and a height of nearly 9 meters quietly docked at the dock. It was the first yacht exported from Doumen Port in Zhuhai this year. Under the supervision of Doumen Customs, the vessel has successfully completed customs clearance procedures and is about to depart for delivery to Hong Kong customers.
Previously, the biggest headache for exporting such a 'big guy' was transportation and customs clearance, "said Du Rui, the customs officer of Zhuhai Zhengyi Yacht Manufacturing Co., Ltd
It is understood that the "sailing" path of this yacht is a carefully designed water route. The yacht completed assembly at Pingsha Yacht Industrial Park in Jinwan District, Zhuhai and headed towards Doumen Port. At the same time of navigation, the "smart supervision" system of Doumen Customs can track the entire ship's AIS trajectory, and the yacht's "journey" is under control.
The ship has not yet arrived at the port, but the data has already arrived, "explained Zhong Lintian, Deputy Director of the Supervision Department of Doumen Customs." As soon as the ship docks, we immediately activate the 'port clearance' mode, relying on the early monitoring data to quickly verify and release. "This optimization has saved the enterprise at least two days of logistics time and reduced transportation costs by about 30%.
This is not only the convenience of a yacht, but also a vivid practice of the linkage between Zhuhai's "Jinwan Manufacturing" and "Doumen Going Global" industries. Between the two, the "front factory, back port" clearance mode established by customs has formed an efficient "outbound assembly line".
In order to support the high-quality development of Zhuhai's yacht industry and marine economy, Doumen Customs has conducted policy lectures in shipbuilding and maintenance enterprises, providing one-on-one guidance to enterprises to make good use of customs clearance facilitation policies such as "ship side direct lifting and port loading". Zhong Lintian, Deputy Director of the Supervision Department of Doumen Customs, introduced: "We give priority to using H986 non-invasive inspection for imported shipbuilding and maintenance materials to solve the problem of difficult disassembly and assembly of large marine equipment. We provide flexible supervision methods such as appointment overtime for newly built export ships, and allocate health and quarantine experts to ensure that export ships complete customs procedures and depart on the same day. ”
Since 2025, Doumen Customs has inspected and repaired a total of 12 foreign ships. In the first two months of this year, the value of imported ship equipment at the regulated port of Doumen has exceeded 17 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.4 times. (Wang Shuxin, Yang Yimeng/Text)
