Post holiday export urgent customs assistance quickly

The Spring Festival holiday has just ended, and the Changxing Island Petrochemical Industrial Park presents a busy scene. Ships anchored at the anchorage are gradually being guided into the port, transport vehicles are orderly entering the filling area, and workers are stacking goods in the packaging workshop.

On the early morning of February 24th, customs officers from Changxing Island in Dalian arrived at the export goods inspection site of the park to inspect a batch of maleic anhydride goods with a total weight of 75 tons. After passing the inspection, this batch of goods will be sent overseas.

Considering the high cost of starting and stopping production lines and the high safety risks, petrochemical companies generally choose to operate continuously throughout the year, including during the Spring Festival period. However, due to the holiday period for transportation and trading company employees, a large amount of finished goods have accumulated in the warehouses of petrochemical enterprises, which urgently need to be started and shipped quickly after the holiday.

Our company's products produced during the holiday season are all stored in the warehouse, with high inventory pressure. We have reported the difficulties and demands to the customs in advance. On the first day after the holiday, customs staff came to inspect the site, which really solved our urgent need, "said Chen Tianxiang, the head of the New Materials Export Customs Department of Hengli Petrochemical (Dalian).

In order to effectively solve the export difficulties of enterprises in the jurisdiction, Dalian Changxing Island Customs has assigned a dedicated person to understand the backlog of goods and export plans of enterprises in advance, clarify the key risk points of export dangerous goods inspection, accelerate the flow of inspection information and business connection, and achieve "immediate collection, immediate delivery, and immediate inspection" of samples. On the premise of ensuring safety, it improves the clearance time of backlog goods export and truly relieves difficulties for enterprises.

According to statistics, from February 24th to February 28th, Dalian Changxing Island Customs supervised the export of 32 batches of hazardous chemicals, totaling 4160.7 tons. (Written by Yan Hongze and Gao Xingzhi)
