On the morning of March 12th, on the occasion of International Consumer Rights Day on March 15th, Zhongshan Customs officers under Gongbei Customs visited Sanxin Kaiyin School in Zhongshan City to carry out a themed lecture on "Toy Safety in Campus". Through small games, graphic displays, and interactive Q&A, they brought a unique safety knowledge popularization class to the first grade students of the school.
In the classroom, the atmosphere is hot. Xu Chenlei is a customs officer responsible for the inspection and supervision of imported goods in the Inspection and Supervision Department of the Zhongshan Customs Office in Shiqi. As the main speaker of this event, she carefully designed interactive games to integrate knowledge of import and export toy inspection into them, guiding children to identify potential safety risks and hazards in toys. Through entertaining communication and interaction, she improved children's ability to identify qualified toys and use them safely. At the end of the activity, the children enthusiastically shared their gains: "Imported toys without Chinese labels or safety certification marks on their packaging must not be bought," "Do not play with toys without safety labels," "Do not put toy parts in your mouth
The children all love toys and have a strong curiosity, but their safety awareness is weak. This lecture was lively and close to life, allowing the children to learn about toy safety knowledge in a relaxed and happy atmosphere, and gained a lot, "said Wang Yu, the homeroom teacher of Class 4, Grade 1 at the school." In the future, we will continue to strengthen safety education in all aspects, including toy safety. Through the linkage between home, school, and society, we will work together to build a safe defense line for children's healthy growth
Toys are close companions in the growth path of children. We want to make professional knowledge easy to understand and strive to truly bring safety knowledge into children's hearts, "said Zuo Guoqing, head of the Inspection and Quarantine Department of the Zhongshan Customs Office in Shiqi." We will also continue to do a good job in quality and safety inspection and supervision of imported toys and other children's consumer products, protect consumer rights with practical actions, and fully safeguard the healthy and happy growth of young people
