Recently, Qingdao Jiaodong Airport Customs seized 26 pieces of high-end cosmetics carried by passengers at the travel inspection site.

During the supervision of inbound flights, on-site customs officers discovered abnormal luggage images of a passenger who selected the "no declaration channel" for entry. After opening the package for inspection, 26 pieces of high-end cosmetics were found. The passenger is a frequent visitor. After investigation and inquiry, the passenger claimed that the above-mentioned items were purchased by someone else.

According to the "Measures for the Collection of Customs Duties, Value Added Tax, and Consumption Tax on Imported Goods" and other regulations, for frequent entry and exit personnel, the customs only exempt and release their essential travel items. (Ren Pei/Wen)
