At 8 o'clock in the morning, the Hekou Port checkpoint had just opened, and the joint inspection building was already crowded with people. Customs officers were guiding passengers to clear customs and inspect their luggage in an orderly manner. I came to China with a tour group, and now it's very convenient to come to China. You can clear customs in less than 5 minutes. Many of my friends have been here before, "said Vietnamese tourist Wu Qiuxia.
This year's cross-border tourism market has shown obvious characteristics such as "early warming up, strong passenger flow, and in-depth tourism", with frequent flow of inbound and outbound personnel. According to data from Hekou Customs, a subsidiary of Kunming Customs, there were 987400 inbound and outbound passengers at Hekou Port in the first two months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 13.58%.
To ensure efficient customs clearance for passengers, Hekou Customs is deeply promoting the construction of smart customs and continuously improving on-site supervision efficiency. We are equipped with intelligent supervision devices such as health and quarantine intelligent gates, CT type luggage inspection systems, and same screen translators at the travel inspection site, continuously creating a "seamless customs clearance" mode. At the same time, relying on smart travel inspection and intelligent map review systems to accurately identify risks, we achieve the organic unity of national security and efficient customs clearance. ”Pan Yinrui, Deputy Director of the Postal Department of Hekou Customs, introduced.
In addition, the Hekou Customs dynamically adjusts the allocation of human resources and the layout of venue functions at the port based on changes in on-site inbound and outbound passenger flow. It has opened a fast service channel for inbound and outbound tourism teams, set up a "Chinese Vietnamese bilingual" and English consultation desk, and ensured efficient and convenient customs clearance for inbound and outbound passengers.
