On March 5th, under the supervision of Shangqiu Customs under Zhengzhou Customs, a batch of container trucks loaded with "Minquan made" refrigeration equipment departed from Minquan Bonded Logistics Center and were sent to overseas markets via Qingdao Port.

The annual production capacity of refrigerators and freezers in Minquan County, Shangqiu City reaches 22 million units, and refrigeration products are sold well in more than 80 countries and regions around the world. The Minquan refrigeration industry chain is complete, but it is located inland and has high export logistics costs, "said Zhao Peng, General Manager of Henan Xiangxuehai Cold Chain Co., Ltd.

In order to fill the gap in logistics transportation in Minquan County, the General Administration of Customs stationed in Minquan County and Shangqiu Customs have joined hands with Minquan County to renovate and upgrade railway stations, promote the opening of China Europe and Central Asia multimodal transport and railway sea intermodal transport trains, and open up an efficient and safe new international logistics channel. From January 2024 to the end of February this year, the "Minquan Qingdao Port" sea rail intermodal train sent a total of 9470 TEUs.

The opening of sea rail intermodal trains has reduced the comprehensive transportation cost of each container by about 5% and shortened the overall logistics time by 1-2 days, "said Zhao Peng.

In addition, Shangqiu Customs actively promotes smart checkpoints to achieve "instant clearance", implementing convenient measures such as paperless declaration of certificates of origin, intelligent document review, and self-service printing to ensure that goods arrive, are checked, and released immediately.
