7 departments issue announcement to adjust the 'Catalogue of Encouraged Import Services'

People's Daily Online, Beijing, February 25 (Reporter Sun Hongli) According to the website of the Ministry of Commerce, in order to implement the relevant decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on actively expanding the import of high-quality services, the Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development, the National Health Commission, the China National Intellectual Property Administration and other departments have adjusted the Catalogue of Services Encouraged to Import, which is now published. Announcement No. 14 (2019) of the Ministry of Commerce, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Ecological Environment and the China National Intellectual Property Administration shall be repealed simultaneously.

The formulation of this directory follows the following principles: firstly, it is urgently needed domestically, and imported services better meet the requirements of high-quality development. Productive services are conducive to accelerating the formation and development of new quality productive forces and green low-carbon transformation. Livelihood services are conducive to meeting the needs of the people for a better life; The second is to connect with the import sectors that are already encouraged and supported by the service industry regulatory authorities; Thirdly, the import of services that are prohibited from opening up domestically and that are detrimental to national security will not be included in this catalog.
