Recently, under the supervision of Dandong Customs under Dalian Customs, a batch of frozen poultry meat products weighing 150 tons declared for export by Liaoning Haoyang Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. were successfully cleared and released after passing inspection, and then sent to Hong Kong through Dalian Dayaowan Port. This is the first export of frozen poultry meat from Dandong to Hong Kong.

Hong Kong implements enterprise registration management for frozen poultry meat imported from mainland China to Hong Kong. Only enterprises approved and registered by the Hong Kong food safety management department can export to Hong Kong. After learning of our export intention, the customs guided us to improve our quality management system, complete the registration of export food production enterprises and supply farms, and ultimately helped us successfully obtain the recommended registration from the Hong Kong Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, opening up the channel for product supply to Hong Kong, "said Liu Chengyi, Chairman of Liaoning Haoyang Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd.

To ensure traceability and quality assurance of poultry meat supplied to the port, Dandong Customs guides enterprises to establish a quality management system covering the entire process of breeding, slaughtering, and processing, and increases self inspection and self-control of veterinary drug residues, microbiological indicators, etc., to ensure that products meet market access standards; Open a "green channel" for agricultural product exports, promote convenient customs clearance measures such as "one-stop service" and "cloud issuance" to enterprises, achieve "inspection and release at the same time", and ensure "zero waiting" for agricultural product export customs clearance.
