In the first eight months of this year, Fujian's imports and exports to ASEAN reached 261.33 billion yuan

Since the beginning of this year, Fujian Province has continued to deeply cultivate the ASEAN market, fully relying on the RCEP policy dividends, continuously deepening economic and trade cooperation with ASEAN countries, and maintaining stable bilateral trade. According to statistics from Fuzhou Customs, in the first eight months of this year, Fujian Province's imports and exports to ASEAN reached 261.33 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.1%.

Private enterprises are the main force in expanding the ASEAN market. In the first eight months of this year, private enterprises imported and exported 175.85 billion yuan to ASEAN, a year-on-year increase of 13.1%, accounting for over 60%. Indonesia is Fujian's largest trading partner in import and export trade with ASEAN, with imports and exports totaling 84.58 billion yuan in the first eight months of this year, accounting for 32.4% of the province's total import and export value with ASEAN during the same period. In terms of growth rate, Fujian's imports and exports to Laos and Myanmar have significantly increased, with growth rates of 75.4% and 32.1% respectively.

Mechanical and electrical products are the core export category of Fujian's trade with ASEAN. In the first eight months of this year, Fujian exported 59.3 billion yuan of mechanical and electrical products to ASEAN, an increase of 2.2%, accounting for 38.6% of the province's total export value to ASEAN during the same period, becoming an important ballast to stabilize the overall export market to ASEAN.

In the production workshop of Ruijie Network Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Xingwang Ruijie, workers are intensively debugging a batch of network communication equipment ready to be sent to the ASEAN market. Our core products include data center and park switches, routers, and network security equipment. We actively expand overseas markets and continue to expand product exports. This year, the ASEAN market has shown strong growth momentum. In the first eight months, we exported 1.439 billion yuan worth of electromechanical products to ASEAN, a year-on-year increase of 93%, "said Wang Chenyan, External Relations Director of Xingwang Ruijie.

Chen Ran, the manager of the marketing management department of Deta Power, told reporters: "Currently, there is a surge in demand for high-power and high stability backup power equipment in the construction of high-density AI data centers in Southeast Asia. Our company relies on more than 80 independent patented technologies, and our power generation equipment products are not only widely matched with Southeast Asian AI data center computing power clusters, but also deeply applied to key engineering projects such as overseas power stations, oil and gas bases, and large-scale infrastructure. In the first eight months of this year, our company's exports to the ASEAN market reached 202 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%. ”
