On October 12th, the rebuilt Huanggang Port in Shenzhen welcomed its first day of customs clearance. According to statistics, 79500 passengers and 8000 vehicles entered and exited the country throughout the day. The on-site passenger and traffic flow is stable and orderly, and innovative measures such as Shenzhen Hong Kong collaborative inspection and intelligent supervision have received their first practical test.
The total construction area of the Xinhuanggang Port Joint Inspection Building is nearly 700000 square meters, and its individual building scale ranks among the top in the world's land ports. The designed daily carrying capacity of the port is 200000 passengers and 15000 cross-border vehicles. The vehicle clearance carrying capacity ranks first among land ports in Shenzhen Customs District. The first day traffic is within a reasonable range, and the clearance space is sufficient.
On the same day, based on the implementation of the "one inspection and dual release" personnel health quarantine in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, the first "three in one" passenger cooperative inspection channel was officially put into use. A total of 67 cooperative inspection fast channels and 34 manual channels were set up in the port entry travel inspection hall and on-board inspection hall, equipped with infrared temperature measurement and intelligent health declaration equipment throughout the line.
Previously, customs clearance had to be divided into two queues and multiple verifications. This time, entering the country is too time-saving and labor-saving. By passing through four gates in sequence, one can complete the processes of health quarantine, information collection, etc. in less than 30 seconds, "sighed Ms. Xiao, a passenger who had just entered the country from the port.
The "Five in One" vehicle cooperation inspection channel, pioneered by Shenzhen and Hong Kong, has been simultaneously launched, integrating the regulatory functions of Shenzhen Customs, Shenzhen Border Inspection, Hong Kong Customs, Hong Kong Immigration Department, and Hong Kong Department of Health. It provides one-stop vehicle information collection and system verification, solving the problem of multiple stops and inspections for cross-border vehicles. On that day, 8000 cross-border vehicles achieved "one stop, one inspection, and coordinated release", and the vehicle traffic was smooth and orderly.
Shenzhen Customs has established a smart supervision system of "adaptive supervision and seamless customs clearance", in which the intelligent inspection platform integrates functions such as document reading, item verification, and business processing, achieving one-stop completion of passenger inspection.
On the first day of the opening of the port, the new customs clearance mode and intelligent equipment have withstood practical tests. Technological equipment such as smart health quarantine cabins and intelligent eyewear individual systems have been put into practical use. We rely on the travel inspection practical platform to ensure smooth and safe on-site customs clearance, "said Cao Yu, the head of the comprehensive department of Huanggang Customs Travel Inspection Department under Shenzhen Customs.
