China News Network: Ningbo Port in Zhejiang Province exported over 300000 new energy vehicles in the first eight months of this year, nearly doubling year-on-year

According to statistics recently released by Ningbo Customs in Zhejiang Province, in the first eight months of this year, Ningbo Port exported 301000 new energy vehicles, with an export value of 34.22 billion yuan (RMB), an increase of 99.1% and 95.5% respectively compared to the same period last year.
From the perspective of export markets, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, and the European Union are the main export destinations. In the first eight months of this year, the export value of new energy vehicles from Ningbo Port to Brazil and the European Union increased by 166.0% and 191.5% respectively; The Central and Eastern European markets are rapidly heating up, with export value increasing by 360.3%.
Chen Xue, the head of a supply chain enterprise in Ningbo, said, "Our current vehicle exports are mainly concentrated in overseas markets such as the Middle East, Mediterranean, and North Africa, with stable demand. In the first eight months of this year, the company's automobile agency export transportation business exported a total of 58200 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 5.2%. Among them, the export of new energy vehicles performed outstandingly, with a year-on-year increase of 11.5%
In order to ensure efficient customs clearance of automobiles, Ningbo Customs has deepened the construction of a smart customs, optimized the "direct loading upon arrival" process, reduced vehicle storage and secondary transportation, and established a key enterprise contact mechanism to assist automobile companies in going global in compliance.
