Ningbo's imports and exports to Vietnam increase by nearly 20%

In the first quarter, Ningbo Port imported and exported 17.65 billion yuan to Vietnam, a year-on-year increase of 18.9%. Among them, exports amounted to 14.31 billion yuan, an increase of 18%, while imports amounted to 3.34 billion yuan, an increase of 22.8%. Among the main export commodities, the export of mechanical and electrical products reached 7.63 billion yuan, an increase of 25.9%. Among them, electrical equipment, general mechanical equipment, and mechanical basic components were exported for 790 million yuan, 510 million yuan, and 440 million yuan respectively, with an increase of 32.5%, 20%, and 54.8%, respectively. The export of "new three types" products reached 330 million yuan, an increase of 126.2%. Among them, the export of photovoltaic products reached 240 million yuan, an increase of 102.7%. Among the main imported goods, natural and synthetic rubber imports amounted to 1.03 billion yuan, an increase of 50.8%, accounting for 30.7% of the total import value. Imported agricultural products amounted to 310 million yuan, an increase of 179.4%, of which imported cassava starch was 150 million yuan, an increase of 705.6%. (Text/Mao Huanwen)
