Qingmao Customs seized a passenger smuggling 117 lipsticks into the country

On February 24th, a customs officer from Qingmao Customs under Gongbei Customs seized a passenger smuggling 117 lipsticks into the country at Qingmao Port, with a value of approximately 44200 yuan.
At around 18:50 on the same day, a passenger entered the country from the Qingmao Port inspection site without a declaration channel. The on-site customs officers noticed that the passenger was walking quickly past the inspection platform, trying to evade customs supervision, and intercepted and inspected him. After further inspection, the customs officer found 117 hidden lipsticks in the passenger's carry on bag. After verification, the passenger is a frequent entry and exit personnel and has been administratively punished by customs for the second time within the year. The passenger admitted to charging a "labor fee" for carrying items for others.
