Rongchang braised goose first served on the dining tables of Hong Kong citizens
Recently, a batch of Rongchang braised geese worth over 90000 yuan was successfully shipped to Hong Kong, China, marking the first time that this Chongqing specialty cuisine with a history of over 360 years has been brought to the dining tables of Hong Kong citizens.
As a traditional cuisine that combines the essence of Cantonese braised dishes with the spiciness and freshness of Sichuan cuisine, Rongchang braised goose is made from the local "Yuzhou White Goose". After hundreds of years of inheritance and innovation, it has gradually formed a unique flavor with a bright red color, strong five spice flavor, and moderate softness and hardness. The fresh aroma of ginger and scallions complements the slightly spicy taste, becoming one of the most representative regional food business cards in Chongqing.

They conducted on-site research on breeding, slaughtering, and processing enterprises, accurately matched their needs, and built a communication bridge between customs and enterprises. At the same time, Yongchuan Customs focuses on the export requirements to Hong Kong, carries out the "Customs Director delivers policies to the door" activity, collaborates with the commerce and agriculture departments of Rongchang District to provide on-site "hands-on" guidance, and organizes experts to explain the entire export declaration process on site, guiding enterprises to make good use of the technical trade measures "toolbox" to ensure that products meet the dual standards of mainland China and Hong Kong.
At present, the local white goose breeding farm, as well as the supporting slaughterhouse and braised goose processing plant, have all obtained registration qualifications, promoting the transformation of Rongchang braised goose export from an ideal to a reality.
