Daoxiangcun Pastry Delivers' Sweetness' to the World

Mixing, shaping, baking, packaging... Recently, in the production workshop of Daoxiangcun Food Group's Beijing factory, workers are racing against time to make orders. Pastries carrying the Chinese New Year flavor are gradually being produced and neatly packed before being sent to various parts of the world.

The period from New Year's Day to Spring Festival is the golden period for traditional pastry exports. Nowadays, the influence of Chinese festival culture overseas is constantly increasing, and our order volume is increasing year by year. The shipment volume of pastries has increased by about 20% compared to 2024, "said Dong Kezhi, Overseas Director of Daoxiangcun Food Group.

The enthusiastic response from the market has strengthened the confidence of enterprises to expand their overseas territory. At the same time, the strong timeliness and concentrated sales cycle of pastry products also pose higher requirements for export clearance efficiency and customs policy services.

To this end, Beijing Customs has taken the initiative to provide advanced services, optimized the normalized communication mechanism between customs and enterprises, and innovatively implemented the "three in advance" work mode - promoting the latest policies and inspection and quarantine requirements for food exports to enterprises in advance; Advance coordination to grasp order details and production scheduling plans; Open the "green channel" for holiday export customs clearance in advance, form a professional assistance team to provide one-on-one guidance, and accurately solve the difficult problems faced by enterprises in declaration, inspection, and certification processes.

At the same time, Beijing Customs is fully promoting the "cloud issuance" of inspection and quarantine certificates. Enterprises do not need to submit materials in person, and relevant procedures can be processed online throughout the process. Since the beginning of this year, the customs has issued more than 50 inspection and quarantine certificates for traditional food export enterprises, with an average issuance time of less than 30 minutes, achieving "zero waiting" issuance and "no going out" certificate collection, and pressing the "acceleration button" for enterprises to go abroad.

It is reported that in recent years, Beijing Customs has regularly carried out a series of activities such as "Customs Policy Enters Every Household" and "Food Safety Week", providing comprehensive assistance to traditional food enterprises to improve product quality, standardize export processes, and provide strong guarantees for "Chinese Time honored Brand" food enterprises to enhance their international competitiveness.
