Beijing, December 29 (Xinhua) -- The fourth report meeting of the Situation and Policy Series, jointly organized by the Central Propaganda Department, the Central and State Organs Working Committee, the Ministry of Education, the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission, and the Beijing Municipal Committee, was held in Beijing on December 29. Wang Wentao, Secretary of the Party Group and Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, delivered a special report on "Expanding High Level Opening up to Promote Inclusive and Inclusive Economic Globalization".

Wang Wentao believes that high-level opening up to the outside world is a powerful driving force for comprehensively promoting high-quality development, an important way to meet the needs of the people for a better life, an initiative to promote inclusive economic globalization, and a strategic choice to cope with external environmental uncertainty. During the 15th Five Year Plan period, China's development environment faced profound and complex changes. The world's century long changes are accelerating, the international balance of power is undergoing profound adjustments, and a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation is accelerating breakthroughs. At the same time, the advantages of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, the advantage of a super large market, the advantage of a complete industrial system, and the advantage of abundant talent resources are more prominent. We must strengthen our confidence and determination, accurately grasp and properly respond to the opportunities and challenges faced by expanding high-level opening-up to the outside world.

The report meeting will be chaired by the responsible comrade of the Political Work Department of the Central Military Commission.
