Mount Huangshan tea "flies" to Prague

On January 18, a batch of 209kg Maofeng green tea and black tea from Mount Huangshan Qimeng Tea Industry Co., Ltd. were quickly cleared through Tunxi International Airport under the supervision of Mount Huangshan Customs and transported to Prague, Czech Republic through the mode of "air to air transit, one order to the end". It only takes 46 hours from receiving the order to delivering to Prague, which indicates that Mount Huangshan famous tea has entered the international high-end market with higher efficiency.

"'Air to air transit, one order to the end' means that after an enterprise has declared at one time, goods can be transported across different airlines with only one air waybill, and press the 'acceleration key' for international transit business to help more goods travel around the world." Wang Xuri, deputy director of Mount Huangshan Customs, introduced. "In the past, we mainly exported large quantities of tea, but this year we received an urgent order for famous and high-quality tea for the first time, thanks to Mount Huangshan Customs' customized customs clearance plan, which solved the urgent problem," said Shao Hui, general manager of Qimeng Tea Company. In response to the needs of enterprises, Mount Huangshan Customs thoroughly combed the laws and regulations of the destination country, guided the quality control throughout the process, optimized the customs clearance process, promoted the formation of an efficient and low-cost air cargo export model, and let Mount Huangshan Maofeng, Qimen Black Tea and other historical famous teas fragrance overseas.

With the increasingly close economic and trade exchanges between Anhui and the countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road", Mount Huangshan tea enterprises are actively expanding the international market. Mount Huangshan Yipin Organic Tea Co., Ltd. has set up a joint venture in Uzbekistan, with a local market share of about 20%. By 2025, the company's export value will reach 530 million yuan, an increase of 20.1%, but logistics bottlenecks often affect order delivery, "said Cheng Fushou, the company's head.

To this end, Mount Huangshan Customs strengthened cross sectoral cooperation, promoted the launch of the "Mount Huangshan Hefei Tashkent" tea special train and the "Xuancheng Mount Huangshan Chizhou Ningbo Zhoushan Port" sea rail intermodal train, and built a diversified logistics channel. As of now, over a thousand TEUs of tea have been exported through the China Europe Central Asia freight train and sea rail intermodal transportation, saving more than 20% of logistics costs for enterprises.

According to statistics, in 2025, the tea export value of Mount Huangshan City will reach 1.58 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.8%, accounting for 78.7% of the total tea export value of the province. Behind the impressive data is the continuous optimization of regulatory services by customs - tracking international pesticide residue standards and tariff policies, issuing risk warnings, and supervising the improvement of traceability systems.

In addition, Mount Huangshan Customs actively promotes the cultivation of AEO (certified operator) advanced certification, and helps tea enterprises to improve their international credit rating, enjoy customs clearance facilities and further polish the "golden signboard" of Mount Huangshan tea through cloud services, pre coaching, simulation drills and other ways.
