On December 18th, a batch of aircraft cabin seats worth about 30 million yuan arrived at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport. After being supervised by Xiamen Customs, they were immediately transported to Xiamen Taikoo Aircraft Engineering Co., Ltd. for cabin renovation projects commissioned by overseas airlines.

With the recovery of the global aviation industry, the market demand for high-end aircraft cabin equipment such as seating continues to be released. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, from January to November this year, Fujian Province imported 590 million yuan worth of aircraft seats, a year-on-year increase of 2.4 times, accounting for 77.7% of the total import value of such goods in the country, ranking first in the country in terms of import scale. This year, the global aviation industry continues to recover, coinciding with some major airline aircraft maintenance cycles. With the global economic recovery, our cabin renovation business will further maintain growth, "said Chen Yanfeng, Logistics Operations Manager of Xiamen Taikoo Aircraft. As of December 16th, Xiamen Taikoo Aircraft Engineering Co., Ltd. has carried out maintenance operations on 206 inbound maintenance aircraft this year, setting a new historical high for the same period.

In response to the high price, large size, and precise structure of aircraft seats, Xiamen Customs has taken the lead in launching a pilot program for "bonded maintenance outside the comprehensive bonded zone" nationwide. Aviation maintenance enterprises can enjoy free guarantee, tax refund, and account based bonded policies outside the comprehensive bonded zone. Simultaneously adding bonded warehouse functions, connecting the channels between bonded logistics and bonded maintenance, creating an emerging business model of "bonded warehouse+bonded maintenance", promoting the expansion of business scope from complete machine maintenance to engine, landing gear, component manufacturing and other fields, further expanding the coverage of policy dividends.
