During the "14th Five Year Plan" period, the Alashankou Customs, closely following the main line of high-quality development of jointly building the "the Belt and Road", used smart supervision to solve the problem, improved efficiency to speed up, and enabled by service optimization to fully escort the China EU train to move forward. According to the statistics of Alashankou Customs, during the 14th Five Year Plan period, the freight volume of Alashankou Railway Port reached 68.874 million tons.

Alashankou Customs deepens the reform model of "smart railway port+local fast customs clearance", relying on the smart supervision platform to build a full chain efficient supervision system, integrating large container inspection equipment, intelligent checkpoints and other technical means, and promoting the transformation of train clearance from "manual inspection section by section" to "non-invasive intelligent supervision".

Alashankou Customs actively implements the twelve measures of Urumqi Customs to support the development of the China Europe freight train, focusing on the needs of enterprises to connect services on the 'last mile'. Through government transparency platforms, business consultation hotlines and other carriers, it guides enterprises to make good use of preferential policies such as freight tax deduction and consolidated taxation for the domestic section of the China Europe return train. By 2025, it will reduce or exempt taxes for enterprises by 6.6141 million yuan.
