Qingdao raisins compete for 'fresh' exports
From the raw materials used in pastry baking to daily healthy and delicious snacks, raisins have always been a best-selling product in the global food market. In recent days, under the backdrop of the New Year atmosphere, the export of raisins has reached a new peak.
Recently, in the newly put into operation processing workshop of Qingdao Hengshengtai Food Processing Co., Ltd., raisins that have undergone initial processing from the Turpan production base are covered with conveyor belts and continuously transported to the intelligent production workshop. After multiple processes such as cleaning, drying, grading, sterilization, color selection, metal detection, impurity removal, and packaging, high-quality raisins are successfully produced one by one. After passing customs inspection, this batch of 22 tons of high-quality raisins will soon be supplied to overseas markets.
The intelligent deep processing production line of the new factory can produce raisins according to international first-class standards. Since the first application for export last year, the export volume has exceeded 5000 tons, "said Xiao Yutang, the general manager of the company." Recently, there have been East Asian customers seeking cooperation, and we have conducted in-depth research on the admission standards of relevant countries under the guidance of customs
It is understood that foreign countries and regions have implemented different admission requirements for pesticide residues, pollutants, heavy metals, and other aspects of imported raisins. As a "newcomer" in the raisin export industry, this company had little understanding of the relevant requirements before. Faced with "different standards" from overseas countries, they were always worried that their products would be returned due to non-compliance with the requirements.
After learning about the difficulties faced by the enterprise, Qingdao Dagang Customs, a subsidiary of Qingdao Customs, quickly launched the "Enterprise Assistance Plan" and assigned assistance specialists to provide training on the entire export process for the enterprise. Faced with the pain point of unclear overseas standards, this level will translate complex international standards into production guidelines that are easy for enterprises to understand. Combined with the processing technology of enterprises, it will sort out key control links, guide enterprises to optimize raw material testing processes, and prevent and resolve food safety risks from the source.
Under the guidance of customs, we not only successfully secured our first overseas order last year, but also quickly grasped the core processes and quality control points of our export business, laying a solid foundation for continued expansion into overseas markets in the future, "said Xiaoyutang.
In response to the high demand for export timeliness of raisins, Qingdao Dagang Customs has opened up a "green channel" for local inspection and fully implemented a pre appointment inspection mechanism. Enterprises can make pre appointment inspections according to their production plans and container loading arrangements, maximizing the efficiency of inspection and release, and achieving "immediate reporting and inspection".
We make full use of convenient measures such as' cloud issuance 'and' batch inspection (quarantine) 'to achieve' fast inspection, fast testing, and fast release ', helping raisins and other food products to clear customs with' zero delay ', "said Wang Xiaolong, head of the Inspection and Quarantine Department of Qingdao Dagang Customs.
According to statistics, by 2025, Qingdao's exports of raisins will exceed 300 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25.3%. (Liang Lifeng/Text)
