According to statistics from Nanjing Customs, in the past 10 years, the foreign trade import and export value of 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt has reached 161.63 trillion yuan, accounting for 45.2% of the country's total import and export value. Among them, in the past 10 years, Jiangsu Province's foreign trade imports and exports have reached 47.93 trillion yuan, ranking first in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.

The opening up of the Yangtze River is more vigorous. In the past 10 years, 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt have imported and exported 72.76 trillion yuan to countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road", accounting for 43.3% of the country's imports and exports to countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road". The momentum of innovation in the Yangtze River is stronger. In the past 10 years, the import and export of high-tech products in 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Economic Belt have reached 49.18 trillion yuan, accounting for 47.8% of the national high-tech product import and export.
