Jining lithium battery exports achieve 5.7-fold growth

Driven by the acceleration of global energy transformation and the export boom of China's "new three types" of foreign trade, the export of lithium batteries in Jining, Shandong has achieved a leapfrog growth, becoming a vivid footnote to the "going global" of the national lithium battery industry.

According to customs statistics, by 2025, Jining will export lithium-ion batteries worth 1.69 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 579.2%.

Based on the overall situation of "going global" in the national lithium battery industry, Jining Customs, a subsidiary of Qingdao Customs, accurately anchors the characteristics of high-speed growth in lithium battery export demand and high product standardization, and solves the problem of enterprises going global with targeted services.

In response to the differences in technical specifications in the international market, customs has conducted more than 20 policy lectures and Q&A sessions on key areas such as customs clearance procedures, key technical and trade measures, and packaging standards for dangerous goods, helping enterprises understand global market rules. Closely monitor policy developments in major destination countries, guide enterprises to optimize their production management systems, promote precise adaptation of products to international access standards, and enhance global market competitiveness.

In terms of customs clearance facilitation reform, Jining Customs has launched a "green channel" for scheduled inspections, combined with a "advance declaration+priority inspection" regulatory model. Through process optimization, the inspection time of lithium batteries has been compressed by 30%, achieving an efficient customs clearance experience of "fast inspection and release".
