In 2025, the foreign trade imports and exports of four special supervision areas in Shenzhen (Qianhai Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Pingshan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Yantian Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and Futian Bonded Zone) will exceed one trillion yuan for the first time, reaching 1000.18 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.7%.

To solve this practical problem, the customs of Shenzhen and Hong Kong work closely together, establish a normalized communication mechanism, jointly study and clarify business processes, share vehicle information, review materials in advance, solve the bottleneck problems in cross-border procedures, and promote the smooth implementation of the project.

Now, domestically produced and exported new energy vehicles that meet regulatory requirements can submit applications to Hong Kong Customs and relevant government departments for pre import review and vehicle qualification approval before actually leaving the Shenzhen special supervision area. New energy vehicles can be quickly registered upon arrival, saving over 70% of their stay time and storage costs compared to traditional models.
