The first international connecting flight in Northeast China has successfully departed

Recently, under the supervision of Shenyang Taoxian Airport under the jurisdiction of Shenyang Customs, more than 50 international passengers completed domestic transit at Shenyang Taoxian International Airport and took CZ8021 flight operated by China Southern Airlines (hereinafter referred to as "China Southern Airlines") to Frankfurt, Germany. This marks the successful launch of the first international connecting flight in Northeast China, providing an efficient and convenient air channel for cross-border travel for passengers.

International connecting flights "are a transit mode allowed by the General Administration of Customs for some domestic airlines and operating airports that meet the customs supervision conditions. Passengers taking this type of flight can complete the boarding and baggage check-in procedures at the departure station in one go. They do not need to carry large checked baggage with them during transit and only need to undergo customs health quarantine and hand luggage inspection and supervision. This greatly simplifies the cross-border travel process and improves the efficiency of passenger circulation at the port.  
In order to ensure the smooth operation of international flights, Shenyang Taoxian Airport Customs closely cooperates with border inspection, security check, airlines and other stationed units and departments to carry out full scene monitoring simulation exercises such as "international to domestic, domestic to international, international to international" for the supervision mode of international flights. Based on the results of the exercises, the supervision operation guidelines are improved, and the supervision processes such as free baggage inspection, health quarantine inspection, customs/security check "one machine multiple screens" joint inspection are optimized to make cross-border transit for passengers smoother and more efficient.
