Export Import Bank issues over 1.2 trillion yuan in new foreign trade loans in 2025

Beijing, January 8 (Xinhua) -- It was learned from the Export Import Bank of China that by 2025, the bank will focus on its main responsibilities and businesses, fully leverage its policy based financial functions, and fully support the improvement and stability of foreign trade quality. Over 1.2 trillion yuan of new foreign trade loans will be issued, accounting for more than 60% of the bank's total loan investment.

It is reported that the Export Import Bank provides high-quality and sustainable financial support to foreign trade entities such as export-oriented enterprises, private enterprises, and small and medium-sized enterprises. Innovate financial products, improve service systems, support the expansion of intermediate goods trade and green trade. Continuously optimizing cross-border financial services to promote enterprises to go global better and faster. Focusing on new forms and models of foreign trade, innovating and carrying out special financial empowerment actions, supporting cross-border e-commerce to participate in segmented field competition, expanding overseas market share, assisting enterprises in building, using, and operating overseas warehouses, and cultivating new driving forces for foreign trade development.

In promoting high-quality development of the manufacturing industry, by 2025, the Export Import Bank will issue nearly 860 billion yuan in new manufacturing loans, including 540 billion yuan in medium and long-term loans for the manufacturing industry, accounting for over 60%.
