The 6th China International Consumer Goods Expo Organizing Committee Work Conference was held in Beijing

On January 6th, the working conference of the organizing committee of the 6th China International Consumer Goods Expo was held in Beijing. Vice Minister of Commerce Sheng Qiuping and Executive Vice Governor of Hainan Province Batel attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

Sheng Qiuping pointed out that the 6th Consumer Expo is the first national level exhibition held after the closure and operation of Hainan Free Trade Port. Hosting this year's Consumer Expo is of great significance for vigorously boosting consumption, expanding high-level opening up to the outside world, and supporting the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port. We must thoroughly implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on high-quality hosting of major exhibitions such as the Consumer Expo, based on the positioning of the global consumer goods exhibition and trading platform, combined with the brand building of "Buy in China", solidly carry out various preparatory work, and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of exhibitions.

Batel stated that Hainan will make every effort to host the 6th Consumer Expo, focusing on new trends and tendencies in consumption, strengthening supply and demand matching, innovating publicity methods, providing good service guarantees, continuously improving internationalization level, and making the Consumer Expo an international consumption benchmark.

Representatives from member units of the organizing committee, including the Central Propaganda Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ministry of Public Security, attended the meeting. Representatives from relevant departments and cities in Hainan Province attended the video conference at the Hainan branch venue.
