Fuzhou Port's first wind power equipment sets sail with the wind in the new year
On January 15th, in the Jiangyin Port Area of Fuzhou Port, under the supervision of Rongcheng Customs under Fuzhou Customs, eight 107 meter long ultra long wind turbine blades were lifted one by one onto the "Ousmana" ship, which is about to depart for the UK. This is the first export of wind turbine blades from Fuzhou Port in 2026.
In recent years, Fuzhou, Fujian has relied on the Fujian Three Gorges Offshore Wind Power International Industrial Park to continuously promote the development of the offshore wind power industry, forming a complete industrial ecosystem covering wind blade research and development production, core component manufacturing, and complete machine assembly. Fuzhou Port Jiangyin Port Area has simultaneously launched a wind energy distribution center, which has built a one-stop service platform for the entire wind power industry chain products covering towers, blades, main engines, and related accessories, becoming an important channel for "Made in China" green wind power equipment and energy equipment to go global. According to Rongcheng Customs statistics, since the first batch of wind turbine blades were exported in December 2022, Fuzhou Port has exported wind turbine blades worth 1.819 billion yuan. The export value of wind turbine blades in 2025 is 658 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 82.3%.
Although wind turbine blades can reach hundreds of meters, the processing technology is very precise. In order to ensure the smooth export of this batch of wind turbine blades, Rongcheng Customs has implemented the "direct loading upon arrival" mode based on the oversized and overweight characteristics of the blades, reducing the transportation time of oversized goods and achieving the direct transportation of the blades from the factory to the port for shipment and export without landing. At the same time, policies such as bonded logistics and bonded processing are applied to key components such as carbon cloth and guide belts to maximize the efficiency of enterprise capital turnover.
With the increasingly prominent synergistic development effect of the wind power industry, the export trend of wind power equipment continues to improve. In the next step, Rongcheng Customs will continuously optimize the port business environment and inject new momentum into the export of new energy products, "said Zhang Yuhan, a member of the Logistics Monitoring Department of Rongcheng Customs stationed in Fuqing.
