Shijiazhuang Customs launches the first shot of ensuring the import of spring plowing agricultural materials

Recently, under the supervision of Caofeidian Customs under Shijiazhuang Customs, a batch of 30000 tons of bulk potassium chloride successfully entered the country from Caofeidian Port and will enter the agricultural inputs market for spring farming as soon as possible. This batch of goods is also the first import of potassium chloride at Hebei Port this year.

Spring is the beginning of the year, agriculture comes first, and spring plowing and preparation are the "first battle" of agricultural production throughout the year. Potassium is an essential nutrient for crop growth. As the main raw material for potassium fertilizer production, potassium chloride has entered the peak season for reserve and application. Adequate supply of raw materials and stable prices are important foundations for ensuring China's food security.

To ensure efficient customs clearance of agricultural materials, Caofeidian Customs has taken multiple measures to fully serve the needs of spring plowing. On the one hand, establish a precise docking mechanism of "one enterprise, one policy", and proactively provide policy consulting services for enterprises in response to the key regulatory points of potassium chloride import; On the other hand, we will open up a "green channel" for the clearance of spring plowing agricultural materials, implement the temporary tariff preferential policy for potassium chloride, and help enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency. At the same time, we will implement the mechanism of "appointment clearance, priority inspection, and on-site inspection", actively coordinate ports to prioritize the transportation of spring plowing materials such as fertilizers, and achieve "zero waiting" for goods to be picked up and unloaded, ensuring that agricultural time is not missed.
