A durian in an Indonesian plantation will achieve full chain transparent management from the branch to the tip of the tongue, leveraging digitalization to accelerate integration with the Chinese market. This is a positive development brought by the China Indonesia durian industry's digital artificial intelligence platform.

We combine China's mature technology and application experience in the field of artificial intelligence with Indonesia's durian resources to more accurately predict production, monitor quality, and optimize the supply chain, fundamentally improving the standardization level and international competitiveness of Indonesia's durian industry. "Yan Xing, CEO of Zhongxin (Guangxi) Digital Agriculture Technology Co., Ltd., recently introduced that the China Indonesia durian industry digital artificial intelligence platform project was signed in Nanning in November 2025. The company will jointly build a full chain digital platform covering planting, traceability, cross-border trade, and marketing with the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture and the Indonesian International Agricultural Trade Company, focusing on five major categories such as durian and mangosteen. In the future, cooperation will gradually expand to more large-scale agricultural products such as palm oil and coffee.
Guangxi is not only the "fruit plate" with the highest fruit production in the country, but also the gateway for ASEAN fruits to enter China. Driven by the policy dividends of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and the construction of the Digital Silk Road, Guangxi is empowering cross-border trade with digitization and intelligence, allowing more and more high-quality fruits from ASEAN to quickly enter the Chinese market.
Pingxiang, Guangxi is the largest port city for fruit import and export trade between China and ASEAN, with a large number of fruits such as dragon fruit and durian entering the country from here. The Chinese section of the China Vietnam Puzhai Xinqing Freight Dedicated Channel Smart Port located here will be put into operation on December 19, 2025. This is the first integrated smart port clearance platform in China with unmanned container transport trucks as the core and AI intelligent scheduling as the support, marking a breakthrough in cross-border logistics between China and Vietnam. The Friendship Pass Port, not far from Puzhai Port, and the China Vietnam Friendship Pass Friendship Freight Channel Smart Port section have been basically completed and are in the stage of joint debugging and testing. It will soon further assist in the clearance of imported fruits for "freshness".
In the first 11 months of 2025, the total value of goods under customs supervision at Friendship Customs reached 545.17 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 28.6%. In the "ASEAN Fruit Gathering in Guangxi, Making RCEP Shopping More Convenient and Better" event hosted by the Guangxi Department of Commerce and other departments, the China ASEAN Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Ecological Circle initiative was launched to empower ASEAN fruit gathering in Guangxi with AI.
