The Chinese Ambassador to Japan rejects Japan's negotiations on export controls for dual-use items

Tokyo, January 8 (Xinhua) -- According to the Chinese Embassy in Japan, on the 8th, Ambassador Wu Jianghao rejected the negotiations made by Japan's Deputy Foreign Minister Funabashi Jianyu regarding China's strengthening of export controls on dual-use military and civilian items to Japan.

Wu Jianghao emphasized that China's move is aimed at safeguarding national security and interests, fulfilling international obligations such as non-proliferation, and is completely legitimate, reasonable, and lawful.
