According to Xiamen Customs statistics, from January to October this year, Fujian Province exported flat panel display modules worth 18.17 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.3%, with a growth rate 5.4 percentage points higher than the national flat panel display module exports, ranking fifth in the country in terms of export scale.
According to officials from Xiamen Customs, foreign-funded enterprises have become the core force of Fujian's flat panel display module exports with their technological accumulation and industrial chain advantages. From January to October, foreign-funded enterprises in Fujian exported flat panel display modules worth 15.19 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.3%, accounting for 83.6% of the total export value during the same period.
A group of leading enterprises such as Crown Technology Group, AU Optronics Co., Ltd., and Chenhong Technology Group are focusing on global production capacity layout and technological innovation, effectively consolidating their international market share. The company has been deeply cultivating overseas markets such as Southeast Asia, Mexico, and Poland for a long time, and its exports to emerging markets have grown rapidly this year, driving export growth of over 70%, "said Chen Xiuxiang, Customs Manager of Crown Display Technology (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. Data shows that from January to October, the export of flat panel display modules in Fujian Province covered 195 countries and regions worldwide, with an increase of 24%, 100.5%, and 121.8% to ASEAN, Latin America, and Mexico respectively, accounting for 65.6% of the total export value of flat panel display modules in Fujian. The demand for upgrading the manufacturing industry in emerging markets has opened up new space for industrial development.
