This year, Dongxing Port's cross-border e-commerce exports exceeded 6 billion yuan
On December 21st, the Dongxing Cross border E-commerce Supervision Center saw cars coming and going, with trucks scheduled for customs clearance entering one after another. After completing customs supervision and inspection, the truck loaded with small commodity packages such as shoes, hats, clothing, cosmetics, small appliances, digital accessories, etc. was released and quickly sent to the ASEAN market with strong consumer demand.
Driven by factors such as domestic e-commerce promotion festivals and traditional festivals in Southeast Asian countries, we have received a significant increase in cross-border e-commerce package export declaration orders since the fourth quarter, with a maximum daily declaration quantity of over 300000. "said Mr. Liang, the business manager of Dongxing Zhenhao Customs Declaration Co., Ltd. The Dongxing Port cross-border e-commerce direct declaration model has strong appeal to large cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Lazada and Cainiao. For tens of thousands of small and medium-sized buyers and consumers in the ASEAN market, this channel means that Chinese goods can be directly delivered to their hands at a speed and price ratio close to domestic e-commerce.
It is reported that the "9610" customs supervision method implemented at Dongxing Port, also known as "Cross border Trade E-commerce", is applicable to domestic individuals or e-commerce enterprises who conduct transactions through e-commerce trading platforms and use the "list verification and summary declaration" mode to handle customs clearance procedures for e-commerce retail import and export goods. As of December 21st, the cross-border e-commerce "9610" model at Dongxing Port has declared 47.203 million export packages with a value of 6.07 billion yuan since the beginning of this year.
To ensure the rapid inspection and release of packages, Dongxing Customs continues to improve its regulatory service efficiency. On November 18th, Dongxing Cross border E-commerce Supervision Center completed its expansion, adding an additional area of about 2000 square meters. The number of vehicles that the supervision center can accommodate at the same time has increased from a maximum of 15 to about 30, effectively alleviating the problem of parking difficulties.
We have adjusted the regional functions, optimized the zoning, and made the operation process clearer, significantly improving the efficiency of venue utilization and the level of supervision and safety. Wei Nan, the head of the Logistics Monitoring Department of Dongxing Customs, introduced that Dongxing Customs has continuously optimized the layout of venue functions around retail packages, carried out holiday appointment clearance services, and adopted intelligent locks for in-process supervision, forming a unique efficiency advantage of Dongxing Port.
At present, there are 109 cross-border e-commerce enterprises registered with the customs in the China (Fangchenggang) Cross border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone.
