On December 22, Dongying Port achieved a historic breakthrough of over 100 million tons of cargo throughput in 2025, officially entering the ranks of "billion ton ports". Since 2023, Dongying Customs has successively promoted the opening of 14 berths to the outside world, and currently Dongying Port has opened 34 berths. The foreign trade freight volume of Dongying Port has surged from 3.14 million tons in 2022 to 15.51 million tons in 2024; The foreign trade freight volume in the first 11 months of this year was 17.87 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 28%, exceeding the total volume of last year and becoming an important increment in throughput exceeding 100 million tons.
