The first Myanmar jade ticket successfully cleared customs at the Qingshuihe Port in Mengding

Recently, a batch of 540 kg Myanmar jadeite and related products were successfully cleared through the Qingshuihe Port in Mengding, Yunnan under the supervision of Mengding Customs officers under Kunming Customs. This is the first shipment of Burmese jade imported from this port.

The history of jade trade between China and Myanmar is long, and the Mengding Qingshuihe Port is adjacent to the main gemstone and jade production areas in Myanmar. The success of the first import business has opened up a new land route for China to import Myanmar jade. In the past, when we purchased jade in Lincang, we had to go through multiple locations for distribution and turnover. Now, we can directly import it at the Qingshuihe Port, reducing logistics costs by about 15% and shortening the supply cycle by 2 to 3 days, "said Man Duan, the general manager of Yurun Company, who imported this batch of jade.
