Recently, under the supervision of Bayuquan Customs under Dalian Customs, 8336.5 tons of new 36 meter SAR48 rails produced by Anshan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. were released through customs clearance. These rails will be shipped to the "the Belt and Road" countries for assistance in the construction of local railway projects.

Due to the fact that this batch of steel rails belongs to special specifications, ultra long and overweight products, how to efficiently and safely complete customs clearance and shipment is a difficult problem in front of us, "said Meng Qinghua, manager of Ansteel Group International Economic and Trade Co., Ltd." After understanding the situation of this batch of goods, the customs opened a 'green channel for the transportation of large equipment' for us. Based on the actual situation of the steel rails, we jointly studied and formulated the optimal route for short distance transportation to ensure that the special type steel rails can be transported quickly, safely and smoothly loaded onto the ship

In order to further ensure the smooth export of domestic steel rails, Bayuquan Customs has established a specialized team for business operations, arranging business backbones to timely understand information on enterprise production, cargo transportation, ship docking, and port operations, and cooperate with port areas, shipping agents, freight forwarders, and other units. Guide enterprises to make good use of convenient measures such as "advance declaration" and "appointment clearance", and comprehensively use "video surveillance+on-site verification" to improve inspection efficiency. After the goods arrive at the port, they can be "inspected and released at the same time", achieving "zero waiting" for goods clearance.

According to statistics, from January to November this year, Bayuquan Customs has supervised the export of 10.229 million tons of steel, with a value of 36.21 billion yuan, an increase of 45.2% and 25.1% year-on-year, respectively. (Shao Chuanyu, Dai Shuang/Text)
