Qingdao Jiaodong Airport Customs Seizes Illegally Carrying Imported Cosmetics, Watches and Other Items

Recently, the customs at Qingdao Jiaodong Airport seized 21 items of imported cosmetics, bags, watches, and other items illegally carried by passengers, including 320 cigarettes, 1 electronic cigarette, 138 pills of "three no" drugs, with a total value of about 67000 yuan.

During the supervision of inbound flights, customs officers discovered that the baggage inspection image of a passenger who selected the "no declaration channel" for clearance was abnormal. After unpacking and inspection, 19 items including cosmetics, shoulder bags, clothes, sports shoes, 320 cigarettes, and 1 electronic cigarette were found. In the subsequent inspection, one wallet and one wristwatch were found on the passenger's body, as well as 138 pills of "three no" drugs. After rapid on-site testing, the batch of "three no" drugs tested positive for methamphetamine.
